vs.  When Cameron pretends to be a french tudor to get closer to Bionca.

2. Katherine is a shrew vs. Biancas older sister who acts like a shrew.

3. Luciento (cameron) and Hortensio who is Joey fight over Binaca.

4. Cameron and Bianca end up together in the end of the movie and book.

5.  Petruccio who is Patrick agrees to marry and date Katherine who is Cat.

6. Bianca likes Luciento who is Cameron.

7.  In both the movie and the book, the younger sister is liked.

8. Katherine is in a way like Cat

9. Both the fathers in the movie and book wont let Bianca date until her older sister does.

10. Bianca chooses Cameron (Lucianto) in the end.

Oh Brother where art thou?

I really enjoyed this movie. I have seen it several times before and know all of the songs, but never understood the real meaning of it all, and why it took place and how it was based off the Odyssey. I just thought it was a creative film with a neat backdrop etc....

I enjoy the first 30 minutes or so, because of George Clooney's weird behavior and his dialog. I think the director chose really great actors for it. They all seem to fit into the character they are supposed to play in the movie very well. And I think they really know a lot about how they are supposed to act and what kind of personality they are portraying in the movie.

Epic Simile: So many moments

The leaves dance around me in circles as the falling petals caress my soft shampooed hair. I can see the sun setting in the distance, moving so slowly only a cat can watch, a cat waiting for a mouse in a field so careful not to move or blink, so patient, as a stream flowing through a quiet forest. The rain starts to pitter patter on the cold gray cement next to my feet. I can feel my sweaty palms clench into angry fists. The soft bed of grass is now a muddy stream of wet dirt under my still body. The fresh sent of flowers drifts by me as the rain begins to pour. I raise my hand to wipe the dripping makeup off my cheeks. I turn my head to the side, eyes still closed. I can hear dogs whining for the last meal of their day. I hear parents yelling at a child for a careless mistake. This moment is just one. Just one in a million, one in a day. If they were all to be counted what would a day be. So many moments, so many memories. Just one life.

Project checkpoint:

Taylor and I are making a movie, well a preview for Mice and Men. We will film some of it around my neighborhood and his.. and maybe film some in a more interesting setting like Lincoln Elementary, or somewhere with trees and life. We plan on having other people be in our film (family members, people from ms. Gilman's class, people from other classes, or schools and or random people we might meet off the street)

I plan to edit the movie and create something that will be interesting and creative to everyone who watches it. We haven't had a ton of time to talk about who will be playing what sorts of rolls yet but Taylor will be starring as one of the main characters (Lenny or George) Our movie will be classy, fantastic, creative, interesting, meaningful and educational! Some possible setbacks may be the timeline (it's very short) or one of us not being able to commit completely to a few hours every couple of days. Or maybe sports (for Taylor), really there are quite a few things that could stop us from making this movie the best it possibly can be, but we will both try our hardest to accomplish what we set out to make.

Romeo and Juliet, movie post.

I chose this video because, it wasn't a scene from the movie, and it was very creative and cute! Haha I think watching different interpretations of Romeo and Juliet is really fun and changes the way you think about the book or either of the movies, because having already seen various scenes from both movies it all makes sense. Even when it's made out of lego's!

Romeo and Juliet

romantic Pictures, Images and Photos
This picture was found at http://media.photobucket.com/image/romantic%20love/love4ever88m/5387631021-67900234.jpg?o=66

I think this picture relates to Romeo and Juliet because of her expression. You can just see in her face that she is completely unconditionally in love with this man. And that's how it is in the book too, because even though Romeo killed Juliet's cousin she is head over heels for him. Also the setting of this picture reminded me of Romeo and Juliet because it is kind of old and romantic.

Romeo and Juliet: scene 2

Something that really stood out to me in scene 2 was, when Romeo went back to see juliet and they declared their love for each other, and Juliet asked Romeo to say "those three words" and told him if he wanted to marry her he should send a letter the next day and they would wed. I found all of this quite interesting because they had only known each other for a day before they decided they were in love with each other and wanted to be married.

I think it will affect the future of the book because, they will maybe look back on it and all the possibly careless decisions they made, and maybe wish that they had waited longer before getting married. Obviously, I have never been in  a situation like the one that Romeo and Juliet are in currently.

Juliet!

I am choosing to describe Juliet, because I feel like if I were to relate to one character it would be her. She is a very polite obedient daughter, and a loyal friend to everyone who lives around her. And she is everything Romeo could ever want! She has a lot of personality, that she expresses to the ones she is really close to.

I think if I were to meet her in person, she would be really interesting and I would just want to hang out with her all day because there would be so much I would love to ask her, and just find out about her as a person. I think I can relate to her in a few ways, some that I can't explain very well. Just the way she is sometimes reminds me of myself sometimes.

Premonitions~

One time, a long time ago I had a dream and I was in a rain forest making ham sandwiches and all the sudden this baby popped up out of know where. At first I was really confused, and then it started talking to me. It hopped up onto the table where I was cutting an onion and stared at me for a long time. Than it threw up all over my pants!! It was disgusting.

The next day my brother got sick and threw up all over the floor, which was also disgusting. I don't think there was anything I could have done to stop what happened to my brother though. He gets sick a lot and it's always disgusting. He's a boy, boys stick their dirty hands in their mouths and never take showers. It's no surprise to me that he got sick that day.

movies!

I love the movie She's The Man because it is based of the Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. In the movie it is more modern, and Viola (the main character) plays soccer but her boyfriend thinks she can't play better than any guy, so she decides to impersonate her twin brother and attend his school to be on the soccer team to prove to her family and friends she is capable of the challenge. When she arrives Olivia starts to fall in love with him (her) but the guy Viola is rooming with, has the biggest crush on Olivia. Meanwhile Viola is in love with Duke who has a crush on Olivia. It's a really long confusing movie with a twist of modern comedy.

I think it relates to Shakespeare because of the love octagon, and all the little things that happen on the side just make it more funny. I like when people make movies based off of older movies that used to be really popular because teens always want to watch the newer ones. That way we can learn about what used to be a really big deal a long time ago but in a more fun way version.

Shakespear!

When we first started A midsummer nights dream, I really didn't understand how they were talking and the language Shakespear created. But once ms Gilman told us that the whole movie and they way they talked was because it was all one big poem. Once I had that in my head it was easier to understand what they were saying. And it really isn't that complicated they just use a lot of "thy", "thou", and "the."

I really likes the movie though, the story was really interesting and a little bit hard to follow which made everyone pay attention. After about 30 minutes of the movie I really started to understand the love triangle, it's so confusing though if you don't pay any attention. I liked the plot because the movie wasn't very predictable, which made it more interesting to watch. I am really excited for Romeo and Juliet, because I have heard so much about over the years from my mom, teachers, friends, and family.

The worst part

To me, the saddest part of Animal Farm is that all the animals listen to Napoleon. Because, I know he is supposed to be the leader but in a situation like the one they are in (running the whole farm) I think it is important to have sort of a decision maker but not someone or some animal that has that much power and influence over everyone else on the farm. I think that all the animals pay to much attention to what Napoleon wants then what they want, which might have caused them to do some of the stupid things they did.

Another sad thing about the book is when the windmill got destroyed. The animals spent almost two years building it and to have in be completely destroyed would be so frustrating. I cannot believe they had it in them to rebuild it, two times. All in all I think Animal Farm is a pretty sad story but very well written.

Freewrite

When I started Animal farm, it took a long time to get to an interesting part. But then once it did, I really started to enjoy it. I especially like how all the animals talk and have their own personality.  I think the animals talking and taking over the farm and creating their own life and running mr. Jones off the farm makes the story so interesting.

If I were writing this book I would have had mr. Jones stay on the farm but the animals just control him and everything that happens. Also I would have some of the animals be plotting something interesting within the main story of Animal Farm.
